Americans embraced the new cooking oils without realizing the health implications. Now, however, coconut oil is regaining popularity in America as a healthy fat and many nutrition experts report the benefits of organic extra virgin coconut oil. Does this Spark an idea?

I would never purchase coconut oil (or anything else for that matter) from Green Pastures. I received a contaminated jar of coconut oil that the company would do nothing about unless I PAID to return it to them. Then, they said, they would "investigate" to see if I should be given a refund or replacement. UNBELIEVABLE to me that a company could be so NON-RESPONSIVE to a legitimate customer complaint. Background: I opened a sealed jar and found debris on the inside of the top (color of scrambled eggs) AND there were scoops of oil missing from the jar! Most disgusting. I emailed and called and offered to send photos, etc. to avoid the cost of packaging and mailing a heavy glass jar. He was rude and refused any reasonable solution.
