Nothing makes a person feel five years younger and sexier than ever than a new wardrobe, but most of us can't afford to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe. Instead, it's fun and easy to find ways to boost the sex appeal of your current wardrobe with a few simple steps and not much money. Here are some tips to help you boost a wardrobe's sex appeal.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Clean it out. Sort through all of your clothes, both casual and professional, and get rid of any clothing that you haven't worn or wanted to wear in the last six months to a year. If it has been in a drawer or your closet for that long without being worn, there is a good chance that you don't feel good when you wear it or that it is outdated. These clothes will make an excellent and valuable donation to a local clothing drive or women's shelter and will give you more room to focus on the clothes that you really enjoy.

  2. Step 2

Know what makes you feel sexy. Every person has physical attributes about themselves that they particularly like and dislike and parts of their body that they think are sexy or appealing. Knowing what these areas are for you is the first step towards creating a wardrobe that helps you emphasize these attributes. If you think you have big, broad shoulders that the ladies love, find shirts and suit jackets cut to make them look good. If you have great legs, find skirts cut to show them off. If you think your eyes are one of your most attractive features build your wardrobe with colors that accent them and make their hue stand out.

  3. Step 3

Be yourself. A person who is confident about themselves and who they are is sexy, so don't try to recreate yourself when boosting your wardrobe's sex appeal or make yourself into a person that isn't really you. Instead, be yourself and be honest about it. If you don't feel comfortable in heels and tight blouses, don't wear them. If you are more comfortable in jeans, keep wearing them; instead of throwing them out altogether, buy a new pair that fits well, makes you feel and look good, and find a shirt or blouse that looks good with them. Building a wardrobe that makes you feel more confident automatically boosts your sex appeal.

  4. Step 4

Get measured. Most of us buy clothes based on what feels good or what feels like it fits properly, but often this isn't an accurate fit for our body shape or type. Many major department stores employ associates who have been specially trained to measure both men and women and help them find clothing that is the right fit for them. From lingerie to suits, knowing your accurate measurements will guarantee that you find clothes that fit you well and make you look good.

  5. Step 5

Keep it classy. Being sexy isn't necessarily about showing a lot of cleavage or dressing loudly or wildly. Sexy can still be classy, even understated. Dress in a manner that is right for your age and the environment that you will be in.

  6. Step 6

Treat yourself. Once you've cleaned out the old clothes and found some that fit right and make you feel good about yourself, buy yourself one or two new things to help boost your wardrobe's sex appeal even more. Set a budget and decide what piece of clothing or accessory would make you feel even sexier. Buy yourself a great new pair of shoes to go with your favorite suit or a new pair of earrings that makes you feel like a million bucks.
