How to Find World Series Records

Numbers and statistics are more well-known and considered more important than in any other sport. Because baseball has been around for more than 150 years, its history and record are taken seriously by its fans. The World Series began in 1903 and has been played every year except two since. Because of the events importance to baseball history, to be a baseball fan, you will need to find World Series records. Read on to learn how to find world series records.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to the official website of the World Series. Here you'll find many details about the World Series results from each World Series, team records and individual records. Look for the World Series Records box on the main page and click on "Single-Game," "Singe-Series," "Career" or "Feats & Streaks" to find the type of records you are looking for.

  2. Step 2

    Find a Major League Baseball Record book, such as The Complete Baseball Record Book at a book retailer or library. Most baseball record books have special sections devoted to the World Series.

  3. Step 3

    Get an entire book devoted to the World Series. Hundreds of books have been published on the World Series with in-depth accounts of happenings from each World Series.

  4. Step 4

    Visit the Baseball Almanac website to find World Series records and stories. Choose "World Series" from the History menu. Read about World Series history and then scroll down to the bottom of the page for a complete list of World Series records.
