Instructions
  1. Step 1

Click on "Manage Blog" from your MySpace homepage. Then, click on "Post New Blog" under "My Controls."

  2. Step 2

Look at the first box that begins with "Posted Date." Here, you can select what date and time you would like your blog entry to be published, if you want it to be published at a later date. You can also type in the title of your blog, and select a category.

  3. Step 3

Write your blog entry into the large text box under the heading "Body." You can jazz it up by using colors, adjusting the font size, inserting images and using smilies.

  4. Step 4

Use the third box to add extra, optional info. You can tell your readers what you're reading, watching, or listening to and you can also select your current mood from a list. You can also check or uncheck the box for disabling or enabling Kudos and comments.

  5. Step 5

Set your privacy settings by selecting one of four options. Choose "Public" if you want anyone who views your page to be able to read the entry. Select "Diary" if you want the entry to be viewed only by you. Choose "Friends" if you want only those in your friends list to view it, or choose "Preferred List" if you want only those in your preferred list to view the entry.

  6. Step 6

Select "Preview & Post" to view your blog entry. Choose "Edit" if you need to make changes. Otherwise, click "Post Blog."
