The one thing people do not like to do are WINDOWS! Cleaning them is no fun unless you have learned the secrets and techniques that I have used professionally and at home.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • any type of dish soap (joy, polmolive etc.)
  • a 14 or 16 inch sqeegee
  • a t-bar brush or spounge
  • a dry rag or paper towel

Step1
Pick the size squeegee to the size of the window (large or small).
Step2
Soak your t-bar brush or sponge. Squeeze excess water out.
Step3
Add droplets of dish soap to your brush or sponge.
Step4
Clean entire window.
Step5
Take squeegee in your left or right hand start at top left hand corner (or right corner) pulling the water straight across to the right side and stop at the edge. Repeat the process but over lap the next swipe about one or two inches. If you get brave, when going across don't stop and turn the squeegee down and go back without stopping from right to left in a 'S' form. Don't need to put allot of pressure. At the Finnish use your rag to wipe the edges for drips and extra water

Tips & Warnings

  • Important note: test first the soap consistency, not to soapy or not enough will make a big difference. Don't let the rubber of you squeegee get to brittle. Then you must change it for a new one. Check squeegee rubber for nicks or dirt which can cause your windows to streak. Use a pole for higher windows. Replace rubber often.
  • I don't recommend standing on a ladder unless you are experienced.
