So you didn't get free or discounted basketball tickets? No problem, you can have a cheap and entertaining party with friends while you watch the "sweet sixteen" or "final four" games and enjoy nachos!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tortilla Chips
  • Salsa
  • Guacamole
  • Cheese
  • Beverages of Choice
  • Big Screen TV
  1. Step 1

INVITES: Email your friends to remind them of the date and time of the NCAA Basketball game you plan to watch! Ask everyone to bring some food to share with friends. Tell them how soon before game time they can arrive. Provide directions or a map to your house.

  2. Step 2

NACHOS: Buy a few bags of Tortilla Scooper Chips and a variety of Mild, Medium and Hot salsas (pre-made of course.)
Also provide guacamole (don't make it, see tips below).
Lay out the chips on a cookie sheet and shred cheddar cheese on top. Put under the broiler just a few minutes until the cheese melts.
Set the chips in a bowl next to the salsa, guacamole for dipping.

  3. Step 3

The GAME: Arrange couches and chairs so everyone has a good view of the TV. Set out napkins, cups for drinks, small paper plates for food, and garbage bags for discarded trash.

  4. Step 4

OTHER FOOD: As your guests arrive, set out their food and drinks for easy access. Now go watch the basketball game and have a great time.

  5. Step 5

RATHER ATTEND than watch the NCAA Final Four? There are Related Ad links on the right that will get you started looking for tickets or entertainment packages.

Tips & Warnings
  • Costco has pre-made guacamole in sealed plastic bags (which can be frozen if you don't use them all). Full of avocado pieces, this is delicious.
