As part of my regular hair care regimen, I often use a rosemary hair rinse to make my hair shiny. Rosemary is ideal for people who have dark hair because it brings out the highlights. It also helps with dandruff.

The best way to use a hair rinse is to shampoo and condition your hair like normal. After you rinse out the conditioner, pour the rinse over your hair. Don't rinse it out. Just dry and style your hair like normal.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 tbsp. dried rosemary or 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  1. Step 1

Place herb in a medium-sized glass pitcher.

  2. Step 2

Pour boiling water over the rosemary leaves. Let steep 10 to 20 minutes.

  3. Step 3

Strain out the herb and let it cool until it is room temperature.

  4. Step 4

    Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar.

  5. Step 5

Pour over head after regular shampoo and conditioner. Do not rinse. Towel dry or blow dry as usual.
