If you have the money and the time, you can compete in the most expensive traveling game in the world. Spin the Globe has become a pastime enjoyed by the rich who want to take jet-setting to a new level. Anyone who wants to play should be prepared to open their leather--the luggage and their wallets--wide.

        Pack up your stuff. Anticipate what you'll need in an unknown destination. Pack light and heavy clothing, and accessories that will help you endure Arctic chills and the blazing tropical sun.

        Settle your accounts. Make sure you don't have to be anywhere for a while. Cancel the appointment with the therapist or the dog groomer.

        Provide for home, pet and child care. Tell the gardener to water the roses. Get a cousin to cat-sit. Leave the kids with their grandparents.

        Review international sign language. You probably won't know the language where you're going (although you may be pleasantly surprised).

        Get yourself psyched. Prepare for a true adventure.

        Stand in front of a globe. Close your eyes while retainng an idea of where the globe is in front of you.

        Spin the globe hard enough so that it revolvs a few times.

        Stab your finger at the globe and stop it by pressing against the first spot you touch. No do-overs.

        Look at the location. If it's in the ocean, spin again. Once you have your desination, order your plane tickets and get ready to go.
