How to Start an Account With Bloglines

There are thousands of blogs on the Internet right now that cover a variety of topics. With all the options, it can be hard to remember all the blogs that you want to read weekly and remember ones that you find everyday. With Bloglines, you can add blogs to your feed list and the account will keep up with all those blogs.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open an Internet browser and go to the Bloglines website. This will take you to the main page of the site. In the top right hand corner of the page, click on "My Account." This will take you to the login page.

  2. Step 2

    At the top of the log in box, there is a link for starting an account. Click on "Create an Account" to get started. This will take you to a new page where you can begin entering your account information.

  3. Step 3

    Type your information in the coinciding boxes. This information will include user name, password, time zone and language. The user name for this site will have to be a current email because a confirmation email will be part of the registration process.

  4. Step 4

    Hit the "Register" button when you have finished filling out your information. This will take you to the a page confirming that you have registered with Bloglines. Then Bloglines will then send a confirmation email to the email account that you provided them with. You will have confirm the account with your email address before you can sign in to your account for the first time.

  5. Step 5

    Go to the email account and click on the confirmation link that is in the email that Bloglines provides you with. This will confirm your account and sign you in to your account for the first time. Now you're ready to starting adding blogs and other feeds to your Bloglines account.
