Step 1
Purchase your tickets ahead of time and avoid the long ticketing lines that you'll encounter if you visit the aquarium during the summer months.
-
Step 2
Park your vehicle in a garage in downtown Baltimore. The National Aquarium does not have its own parking garage. You have to find your own parking in the city and walk to the aquarium.
-
Step 3
Go to the reptile exhibit. Almost every reptile imaginable can be found in this part of the aquarium. Animals housed here include turtles, tortoises, alligators, crocodiles and lizards.
-
Step 4
Check out the large Animal Planet Australia exhibit. Mammals and fish found here are indigenous to Australia. Featured creatures are the archerfish, python and flying fox.
-
Step 5
Find out the times of the dolphin show at the aquarium. This live-action show is a must-see for all National Aquarium visitors. The dolphins show off their high level of intelligence and interact with trained professionals.
