How to Set Up EarthLink Email

EarthLink is an Internet service provider that offers services to both members and nonmembers. At no charge, you can have an EarthLink email address with 100 MB of storage space and EarthLink services, like spam and virus blockers. You can set up your EarthLink email in a few simple steps.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to EarthLink's main page and look for the "Software and Tools" option. In this section, you'll see email options for members and nonmembers. Choose the category that applies to you.

  2. Step 2

    Choose an ID for your email address. Select a letter and number combination that can be used for your email address. You must also choose a password to access your email address.

  3. Step 3

    Fill out the additional information. Additional fields on the registration form include a security question, name, address and alternate email address.

  4. Step 4

    Read the terms of service. Before your EarthLink email can be set up, you must agree to their terms by checking the applicable box.

  5. Step 5

    Get your new email address. You'll be redirected to a page that lets you know your new EarthLink address and a link to start using your email. Click on the link, and you are sent to the main page for your email box.

  • Paid EarthLink subscribers get an email address with larger storage capacity and additional customized options.
  • Once you set up your email, you can set up a personalized My EarthLink homepage with news, sports, weather and more.
