Things You’ll Need:

- POP3 or IMAP4 email account with an ISP (internet service provider)
- Eudora
For Windows Users
Step1
Get your email settings from your internet service provider (ISP), including your POP (mail server), your SMTP (outgoing mail server) and your email login and address.
Step2
Double-click on the "Eudora" icon to open the program. Select "Tools" and then "Options."
Step3
Choose "Getting Started," and in the "Real Name" field, enter your name the way you want it to appear when someone receives email from you (for example, "Mary Smith"). Add your email address in the "Return Address" field (such as "marysmith@eudoramail.com").
Step4
Enter your POP in the "Mail Server (Incoming)" field (pop-server.eudoramail.com), then add your login name.
Step5
Enter your POP in the "Mail Server (Incoming)" field (pop-server.eudoramail.com), then add your login name.
Step6
Verify that "Allow Authentication" is checked, and if no check mark appears, click on the box.
Step7
Send a test email to make sure it's set up properly.
For Mac Users
Step1
Double-click on the "Eudora" icon to open the program. Select "Special" and click "Settings."
Step2
Choose "Getting Started" from the "Options" window, and in the "User Name" field enter the login name you received from your ISP (for example, "eudora-user").
Step3
Enter your POP in the "Mail Server" (pop-server.eudoramail.com), and then enter your name the way you want it to appear when someone receives email from you (such as "Mary Smith").
Step4
Input your SMTP in the "SMTP Server (Outgoing)" field
(smtp-server.eudoramail.com).
Step5
Insert your email address in the "Return Address" field (such as "marysmith@eudoramail.com"). Click "OK."
Step6
Perform a test run by sending an email.
