LimeWire allows computer users to share all types of music, video, picture and text files. It even allows you to publish and license your original work by using a special publishing tool. Follow the steps to create audio, video, picture or text using LimeWire.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

License your content by visiting LimeWire's affiliate, Creative Commons. Then download the latest version of LimeWire by going to the website (see Resources below). Save your audio file in MP3 format. Click on the "Library" tab at the top of the LimeWire interface.

  2. Step 2

Highlight the file that you want to publish from your library. Wait for the file to appear at the center of the LimeWire interface screen. Click on the "CC Publish" icon at the bottom of your interface to publish your music file.

  3. Step 3

Publish video by accessing one of LimeWire's affiliates, such as YouTube. Sign up for an account, then click "Upload Videos" at the top-right corner of the page. Enter the title, description and video category, set it to public or private and then continue uploading.

  4. Step 4

Go to the "Flickr" link in LimeWire if you want to publish photos. Sign in or create your account, then use the upload page to post your photos. Save your photos in JPEG, GIF or PNG format before uploading.

  5. Step 5

Use one of the blog services to publish text online. From the LimeWire site, click the link to "Blogger" or one of the other blogging sites. Enter your username and password, or create one. Then type your blog, select a page template and publish.
