Bankshot Billiards 2 (BB2) is a simple video game version of billiards. With crisp graphics, nine game types and multiplayer modes it can hold a player's attention for a while. The variety of pool games offered gives BB2 a lot of replay value. You do not have to be a pool master to enjoy this game; casual gamers will enjoy it as well.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Select a mode of game play in either single or multiplayer. The modes are essentially the same for each except that in multiplayer your opponent is a human not the computer. Three of the modes: Trick Shots, Time Trial and Golf are not available in multiplayer games.
Step2
Read the white text description of each game type before you choose it to understand what your task will be for that particular game.
Step3
Move the cue ball, when you are given the ability to place it where you like, with the right analog stick. The left analog stick is used to move the pool cue around the ball to decide the angle of your shot. Place the ball where you wish then line up your shot.
Step4
Hold down "Y" and move the left analog stick to increase or decrease the power of your shot. You can see how much power you are applying via the gauge in the bottom right of the screen, it is the yellow gauge.
Step5
Press the "A" button to hit the ball with the desired direction and speed settings then wait for all of the balls to settle in place.
Step6
Practice getting a ball in on each of your turns. If you do you will get consecutive turns until you miss. This allows you the chance to completely shut out an opponent once you are practiced enough.
Step7
Avoid sinking the white cue ball or an opponent's ball. This is considered a foul and results in a lost turn.

Tips & Warnings

  • Once you master the typical game play try holding "X" or "B" and moving the right stick. You adjust where you hit the ball which can completely change its movement path. See what you have adjusted by watching the gauges in the bottom right below the speed gauge.
  • Choose your color "stripes" or "solids" if you are given the choice. This happens when you are the first to sink a ball and you sink both a solid and striped ball at the same time.
  • Avoid hitting the eight ball in during most games. If you put this ball in prematurely you will lose instantly.
