Bribing someone usually isn't a nice thing to do. However, there are certain situations in which bribes can benefit both parties. You shouldn't hesitate to benignly bribe someone when the situation calls for it.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Offer a taxi driver a larger tip if they get you to your destination quickly. Taxi drivers usually work as fast as they can to move on to the next customer. However, if you're late for an important meeting, a big tip may coax the taxi driver into moving even faster.

  2. Step 2

Bribe a restaurant host with a tip to get seated quickly. There are certain things that a host can do to speed the seating process. For example, he can help the busboy clean and set up your table, eliminating any extra wait time.

  3. Step 3

Tempt contractors with food and drink if they stay late to get the job finished. Contractors usually want to go home as soon as the work day ends. By offering them a meal and something to drink as a bribe, they may stay late to complete the project.

  4. Step 4

Give gifts to your mailman may win you preferential treatment, such as making sure deliveries that don't fit in you mail box are left somewhere safe when you're not home. Giving postal workers a gift certificate or an expensive bottle of wine is acceptable.
