1
Start off with fancy paper or use a plain piece that you decorate yourself. Create a theme for your letter like winter or summer. Use the recipient's favorite theme like angels, animals or children.
-
2
Draw pictures inside the card or on the letter. Create your own letterhead. Use colored markers, gel pens, pencil crayons or even paint.

3
Spray perfume on the letter. It's fun to get a letter that has a nice smell to it. You can use common scents like fruit or spices if you don't like perfume. Body sprays and room sprays come in many scents.
-
4
Draw designs with glitter glue. Add a photo and make a frame of glitter glue around the photo. Use the glitter glue to paste photos to the page.
-
5
Trace with stencils or make designs of your own. You can glue the photos into the images or just write messages inside the designs.
-
6
Get creative with 3-D pop out cards. You can buy already made cards and add to them or make your own.
-
7
Add stickers to the letter and to the envelope. Finish off with fancy stamps and colored writing on the outside of the envelope. Seal the envelope with a sticker.
