Step1
Open Outlook Express. From the Outlook Express menu, use your left click button to click on "Tools." Use same button throughout the process.

Scroll down to "Accounts," and then move cursor to the "Mail" tab.

Click the "Mail" tab.

Click the e-mail account you want to configure, and then click "Properties."

Click the "Servers" tab.
Step6
Copy your current mail server information. Highlight the information in the Incoming Mail (Pop3) field. This is your current incoming mail server. Hit the Ctrl and C keys simultaneously to copy the information in this field.

Hit the delete key to remove the current mail server name. In the Incoming Mail field, type 127.0.0.1.

Paste the mail server information that you copied in the previous step into the account name field. Click in the Account Name field. Hit the Home key so that the cursor is in the beginning of the field. Click on the Ctrl and V keys simultaneously to paste the information into this field. Then, type a colon ( : ). This field should show your original POP3 mail server, colon and your user name. For example, if your mail server is mail.myserver.com and your username is msmith, the contents of the field should be mail.myserver.com:msmith

Click "Apply," "OK" and "Close."

If you have more than one e-mail client set up in Outlook Express, repeat the steps for the remaining clients.
