Step 1
Watch professional wrestlers deal Kesagiri Chops on television to see what this chop entails. Kesagiri Chops are backhand chops with a diagonal twist.
-
Step 2
Allow your opponent to stand behind you. You should be able to reach him if you were to extend your arms to your side. An opponent that is directly behind you will be immune to your efforts.
-
Step 3
Identify an open, vulnerable spot on your opponent's neck.
-
Step 4
Lift your hand into the air. Stiffen and flatten your hand into a "blade." Position your hand so that it is diagonal to your opponent's neck.
-
Step 5
Swing the hand downwards and diagonally onto your opponent's neck. Use a chopping motion, but don't chop more than once. One Kesagiri Chop should be enough to subdue your victim. If it isn't, you may have hit the wrong place. Aim for pressure points.
-
Step 6
Let your opponent recover from the surprise attack or execute another wrestling move that takes advantage of having your back to your opponent.
