Step 1
Watch professional wrestlers deal forehand chops to their opponents. The forehand fhop is a popular move used by many professional wrestlers. You'll often see these blows used in pro wrestling matches.
-
Step 2
Stand facing your opponent and make sure you have a clear line of sight to his chest. If your opponent's posture is such that his chest puffs out, this will be advantageous to dealing a forehand chop.
-
Step 3
Lift one hand above your opponent's chest. Extend your hand out to form a flat, knife-like "blade." Keep your hand stiff.
-
Step 4
Swing your hand down and use your forehand to slap your opponent's chest. The bottom of your hand can be used to buttress much of the blow and should be the first thing that hits your opponent's body as your hand comes down.
-
Step 5
Release your hand from contact with your opponent's chest. If you keep your hand on or near your opponent's chest after the blow, he can grab your arm and twist it behind you. If you have struck your opponent hard enough, allow him to react to the blow.
