How to Add a Graphic to a Eudora Signature

An email signature is an efficient way to include all of the information you typically put at the end of an email--such as name, phone number, address and title--automatically to the end of every email you send. In Eudora, you can further customize your signature and brighten it up by adding a graphic file.

Instructions

    • 1

Find a animated GIF, regular GIF or JPG picture you want to add to your Eudora email signature. Save the file on your hard drive in a place you can easily find it later.

    • 2

Create a new Eudora signature. Open Eudora, and select "Signatures" from the "Tools" menu. Place any contact details, quotes or other text you want in your signature.

    • 3

Make your new signature and HTML signature. Your signature must in HTML to incorporate the graphic. Change it to this by adjusting the font in some way, such as making something italic or bold so Eudora recognizes it as an HTML signature. You can change the text anyway you wish later, after you add the graphic.

    • 4

Save your signature by a file name you remember.

    • 5

Open the "Sigs" folder from your Eudora directory on your hard drive. In this directory, find your new signature file. Select it and open the file.

    • 6

Edit the file by inserting an HTML reference to the graphic file stored on your hard drive. In the signature file add "." For example, type in "

    • 7

Add as many graphics as you would like. Where you place the HTML reference is where the graphic shows up. Therefore, if you place it in the line below your name, that's where it shows up in your signature.

    • 8

Start a new Eudora email and insert your signature as usual. Your graphic should appear.
