If you are in a sexual relationship with an older man, you have probably noticed a difference from sex with a younger partner. Although an older man might not have the stamina of a younger man, there is a lot to say for the sexual experience he brings to a relationship. There are some things you can do to help you enjoy sex with an older man more.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Communicate with your partner. It is important to keep lines of communication open both ways. Talking about your sexual needs might not be easy, but it is an important step to getting both of your needs met.

  2. Step 2

Slow down and take your time. Older men need more foreplay and stimulation to achieve an erection. Spend more time leading up to sex. Consider watching erotic movies together as a lead in to a sexual encounter. Men are more visual then women and often find that pornography helps to get them stimulated for a sexual encounter.

  3. Step 3

Take advantage of the extended foreplay. Another fact about older men is that their erections do not last as long. Making sure that you are appropriately stimulated before intercourse begins will help you to be able to achieve orgasm before the encounter is over.

  4. Step 4

Experiment with new sexual positions. An older man's erection is usually not as hard or as large as it was when he was younger. Try various sexual positions to find the ones that help you to get the stimulation you need for orgasm.

  5. Step 5

Change your sexual routine. Your older partner might have more energy in the morning then he does at the end of the day. Morning sex can be a good solution if you are involved with an older man.

  6. Step 6

Focus on quality not quantity. An older man typically has a lower sex drive then he did when he was younger. Do not focus on how often you have sex, but rather on the quality of the sex when it does occur. He has had many years to learn what pleases a woman and usually is eager to show you all that he has learned.

  7. Step 7

Broaden your definition of sex. A sexual relationship can include much more than just intercourse. There are many ways to express affection in a relationship--not all sexual encounters need to lead to intercourse.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't be afraid to take the initiative. Even though your older man might not be looking for sex as often as he once did, this does not mean he will necessarily refuse it if you initiate it. Sometimes he just needs to be reminded how pleasurable it can be.
