How to Download Playable Demos to a PlayStation 3

You have purchased a PlayStation 3 console, but don't know which games to buy. Or perhaps you simply want to keep up-to-date on games as they prepare for release. The PlayStation Network has many free playable demos available for download, which can help you decide which games are worth the money for the full version.

    Things You'll Need

    • PlayStation 3 console
    • Internet connection

        Turn on your Playstation 3 console.

        Scroll right to the Network menu and choose "PLAYSTATION Store."

        Using the left joystick to move the cursor, click on "Games."

        Click on "Game Demos."

        Click on the left and right arrows until you see a game you would like to download. Click on that game's icon with the cursor.

        Click "Download." The demo will begin to download. Click "Perform in Background" to continue browsing, or to leave the PlayStation Store.

        Repeat Steps 5 and 6 if there are other demos you wish to download. You can download more than one thing at once, and you can manage your downloads in "Download Management" in the Network Menu.

        When a game is finished downloading, you can install it by clicking on the game icon in the Game section of the Main Menu.

    • In order to download free game demos from the PlayStation Store, you will need to set up an account. It is free, easy to set up and once you have done it, you will not be required to do it again.

      SONY are a bunch of lowlives who invented the rootkit spyware virus, don't expect anything good from them; also they are Japanese so the word customer service and consumer protection means zilch to them which is why they respect themselves in countries that have consumer protection and they gouge the others, i.e. 3rd world countries.
