How to Set up an Online Resistance: Fall of Man Game

After a while, playing the Resistance story mode against the computer can get boring and predictable. It is time to play against other human beings, but you want to play by your own rules. The "Create Game" feature in "Resistance: Fall of Man" allows you to choose your map, type of game, time limit, number of players, and even weapons.

Things You'll Need:

• PlayStation 3 console
• Resistance: Fall of Man game disc
• Internet connection

1. Insert the "Resistance: Fall of Man" game disc into the Playstation 3 console and choose "Multiplayer" from the "Game" menu.

2. Choose "Online Game" from the "Multiplayer" menu.

3. Accept the user agreements, and choose "Continue" from the announcements screen.

4. Choose "Custom Games" from the "Online" menu.

5. Press the square button in the "Game Filters" menu to create a game.

6. Choose a game type, map, and game details and options on the "Create Game" screen. This is where you get to be creative and design the match that you would like to play. This is also where you choose to make it a private or public game.

7. Press the square button when you are finished to proceed to the staging screen. Now you must simply wait for others players to join. If you are ready to start, press the square button to vote to start. When enough people have pressed the square button, the match will begin.

Tips & Warnings

• The staging screen is also where you can talk to other players using the text chat option, or "R2" button.
