    • 4

Shell out the extra money on high end RCA connectors and all cables when you purchase high end audio and video systems. The quality will come through and you won't every have to worry about attenuation of the signal.

    • 5

Take the time to ask several electronics service people what kind of cables they use for their home systems. They usually know what the best connectors and cables are to use for what devices.

    • 6

Buy RCA cables with the length that you will need for connecting your electronic equipment. Connecting two separate connectors with adapters can diminish the quality of the signal. Best case keep your electronics close in proximity to each other to keep the signal strong.
