Tips & Warnings
After you have picked up your keg and put in the area you want you should let it sit for a while before tapping it. You should also cool it down before tapping it.
When you pour the first few glasses of beer from the keg they will come out full of foam. Get a pitcher and empty out all the foam before pouring the beer for people to drink.
When pouring the beer tilt the cup at a 45-degree angle so that the beer hits the side of the cup and slides down to the bottom. By doing this the beer will have much less of a head.
If you do not have a kegerator you can use a bucket or a plastic garbage can filled with ice to chill the keg.
A full keg of beer is very heavy, generally around 120 pounds. Be careful when you are lifting the keg.
