Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Plan a date for your Christmas gift exchange that meets with everyone's schedule. Set a budget or limit for the gifts. Plan where the gift exchange will take place, at a restaurant or at someone's home.
Step2
Draw names for a Christmas gift exchange with the girlfriends that would make the gift buying within everyone's budget. Try opening the gifts one at a time, so everyone gets to "ooh and aah" over the gift items. Have everyone open their gifts all at one time for a giant unwrapping extravaganza and lots of fun.
Step3
Play "dirty Santa" to combine a game with a Christmas gift exchange. Every package gets a number and then every girlfriend gets a number. Number one gets to pick a gift to unwrap first, and then Number two can take from number one or open their own and so forth. It gets pretty rowdy.
Step4
Have a "white elephant" gift exchange. Bring something from home that you can't wait to get rid of or rather pass the wonderful item on to another girlfriend. This is fun and always gets lots of laughs.
Step5
Decide as a group of girlfriends a needy cause that means something to all of you and everyone bring a wrapped item for that organization. Perhaps as a group of girlfriends, you adopt a needy family for Christmas, each girl friend brings one item on the list to show everyone else and everyone helps in wrapping the gifts for the needy family. It's a "feel good" party and helps others in need.
Step6
Exchange Christmas gifts with the girlfriends by using a theme. Have a holiday décor theme, exchange fragrances, lingerie, silver jewelry, favorite wines or scented candles. The ideas for a themed Christmas gift exchange are too many to list.
