Enjoy a Canadian Tour Golf Event
Step1
Plan your attendance knowing that Canadian Tour events aren't generally held in Canada until early June, owing to the sometimes difficult and unpredictable Canadian weather.
Step2
Expect the tour schedule to begin in Western Canada and gradually move east. Canadian Tour events are normally held in highly populated regions of Canada, beginning in British Columbia and moving through Alberta and into Ontario and Quebec.
Step3
Anticipate that the Canadian Tour schedule will vary from year to year. While the tour usually consists of at least a dozen events, as many as 20 have been held in a single season in the past.
Step4
Obtain an official schedule of the year's Canadian Tour events from the CANTOUR website (see Resources below).
Step5
Decide which event(s) you want to attend. Dates and locations are given with the official CANTOUR schedule.
Step6
Click on the hyperlinks to the Canadian Tour events you are interested in attending. There, you will find further links guiding you to the event's official website. Note that hyperlinks are not normally provided for events that have already taken place.
Step7
Purchase your tickets through the official website of the Canadian Tour golf events you wish to attend. Tickets are generally available several months in advance of the event. Exercise caution when completing credit card transactions online by using a private computer and wiping your web browser's history clean when the transaction has been successfully processed.
Step8
Plan your trip to Canada. If you're going to be arriving by airplane, keep in mind that the major cities nearest most Canadian Tour events are (from west to east) Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto and Montreal. Choices for hotel accommodations are plentiful in the cities where Canadian Tour events are held, but may need to be booked several months in advance.
