Attend a PGA Tour Event
Step1
Find a list of the year's scheduled events. In a typical season, which usually runs from January to November, there are about 50 different PGA Tour tournaments, in addition to the Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour events.
Step2
Decide which event you want to attend. Keep in mind that tickets for the four "majors" (The Masters, U.S. Open, British Open and PGA Championship) are highly sought-after, so you'll have to act quickly to secure them.
Step3
Attend PGA Tour events visiting your local region, as they are held nationwide and visit various regions of the United States. This will help to cut down on your travel expenses.
Step4
Check frequently with the PGA of America Ticketing Center to buy tickets for the events of your choice as soon as they become available (see Resources below). You may also choose to register to join the site, which will allow you to receive email alerts notifying you when tickets for your chosen event(s) go on sale.
Step5
Purchase tickets for your chosen event(s) through the PGA of America Ticketing Center, or any other broker that sells tickets at their face value. Other sources of tickets to PGA Tour events include brokers like Ticketmaster and sports ticketing agencies in either your community or the community where the PGA Tour event will be held.
Step6
Make your travel and hotel arrangements as far in advance as possible. Not only are you more likely to get better rates on your airfare this way, you will also avoid any booking difficulties which may surface as the event draws near and rooms fill up in local hotels.
