How to Make Green Beer!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Light colored beer of choice (alcholic or non alcoholic)
• Green food coloring
• Chilled glass or mug

1. Chill a 16 oz. glass. It is best to keep glasses ready in the freezer if you are throwing a party.

2. Put 3-5 drops of green food coloring into the glass.

3. Pour your golden beer into the glass over the green food coloring. This will mix the color around naturally.

4. Hand the frosty beverage to someone and then toast: "Slàinte!" (pronounced "slawn-cha")This is an old Irish way of saying "Good health!"

Tips & Warnings

• The lighter beer color you use, the better. For a darker green, just add a few more drops of food coloring.
• If you are having a party, keep glasses in the freezer so that you will have no short supply of frosty mugs.
• Be the ultimate host or hostess by preparing a tray of chilled green beer glasses to present to guests.
• Make an alcohol-free version by using apple juice or ginger ale in place of beer.
• If there are children at the party, be sure to keep the green beer (and food coloring) out of arm's reach.
• Don't go overboard with the green food coloring. Again, 3-5 drops is enough to do the trick.
