How to Get Some Easy Achievements in Bioshock
While some of the Achievements in Bioshock may have you bending over backwards, there are some that are simple to get and you'll probably earn them in the course of a normal game anyway. If you like maxing your Gamerscore and want to know how to get those Achievements, read on!

Invent all possible ammo types. This will net you at least two Achievements and a third if you invent 100 or more items.

Purchase Plasmid or Tonic slots. You get a single Achievement for buying a slot, then another for maxing all your slots. This isn't too hard to do, even if you're saving the Little Sisters instead of harvesting them.

Hack one of everything (security camera, security bot, turret, safe, vending machine.) You get an Achievement for each.

Fully upgrade your weapons. You get Achievements for fully upgrading 1, 2, 3 and all weapons. Remember, you can only upgrade weapons at the Power to the People stations, and each station only yields one upgrade.

Shock an enemy in the water. No brainer, you'll do this in the first 10 minutes of the game anyway. Easiest 10 points ever!

Take Research pictures. You gain Achievements for taking a single picture, then for maxing your Research on each enemy type.
