How to Boil an Egg in a Paper Cup

Ingenious ways to cook breakfast foods are welcomed when one is camping. This recipe will help you to stay satisfied while allowing you to bring one less cooking utensil.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Paper cup
• egg
• water
• hot coals

1. Light a fire in a firepit. Wait until it has burned down and the coals are gray.

2. Make a hole in the middle of your coals. Place the egg inside of the paper cup. Fill with water.

3. Place the cup in the whole you prepared. Water will boil and cup will not burn. Allow to boil for 10 minutes. Remove carefully and enjoy your hardboiled egg!

Tips & Warnings

• Wear protective gear on your hands when lifting the cup from the coals.
