Find yourself. Sometimes people believe that finding the perfect relationship will be the key to all of their problems and provide lasting happiness. The problem with that is that if you are not happy with yourself, no one else can make you happy either. Take the time to get to know who you are and what you want out of life. Use the time you are alone to improve yourself and become the best version of yourself that you can be. As a result, you will be more attractive to potential mates.

Figure out what you want. You should be clear on what you are looking for in a man and what you expect from a relationship before you go out trying to find it. You should spend time figuring out what qualities and values are most important to you and what you are willing to compromise on if you need to. Keep in mind that no one is perfect, including you, so make sure your expectations are reasonable.

Date. It may sound silly but the best way to find a man is to go out on dates. Not every man will be your dream date, but it is important to put yourself out there and explore the dating scene. It will help you narrow your search as well as give you experience in both the positive and negative aspects of dating. If you are having trouble finding dates, be open to group dates, blind dates, online dating, speed dating and other, perhaps less obvious, ways of meeting new people.

Be patient. Finding Mr. Right is not as easy as finding Mr. Right Now. It can take time and a lot of patience, but it will be worth it once you find him. Do not give up on your dreams of love just because you have not found the right man yet. It is a process just like everything else in life, and the longer you have to wait to find each other, the more you will appreciate it when you do end up together.
