Snap peas are delicious, healthy and really, I mean really easy to make. These sesame snap peas are one of my favorites to prepare.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 lb. snap peas
  • 1 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp sherry
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • toasted sesame seeds (optional)
  1. Step 1

    Wash and trip ends off snap peas. Combine soy sauce, sugar, sherry and sesame oil in a small bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Add oil to wok or skillet. Heat at high until oil is hot, approximately 1-2 minutes. Add snap peas and cook for 2 minutes on high heat.

  3. Step 3

    Add soy sauce mixtuure to the snap peas. Continue to cook on high heat for 1 more minute. Transfer to serving dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Tips & Warnings
  • Can use any kind of cooking oil for this dish, e.g., peanut, vegetable, canola, etc.
  • Snap peas are generally the same as sugar snap peas
