How to Create a Zwinky Avatar

Creating a Zwinky avatar makes social networking more fun and interesting. You design a customized character with a wardrobe, hair styles, skin tones, facial expressions, makeup, accessories, pets and even tattoos. Create a character that matches your real identify or is complete fantasy. It's easy to add your new Zwinky to other social networking websites.

Instructions

1. Go to the Zwinky website and download the free software. Create an account with a username and password.

2. Start with a body type. Choose from female hottie, male hottie, female cutie or male cutie.

3. Add a skin tone, eye color and hairdo. Click the "Launch Wardrobe" link. Place the mouse over the "Appearance" tab and select a category from the drop-down menu. Choose a pictured item to add it to your current appearance. Click the "Save Outfit" button to keep the selection.

4. Dress your Zwinky in one of hundreds of outfits. Click the "Launch Wardrobe" link. Select "Create a new outfit." Browse through the drawers to try something on your Zwinky. You can add glasses, makeup, tattoos, hobbies, pets, even a PDA. Then click the "Save Outfit" button.

5. Create a profile page with personal information, including user name, gender, age and interests. Access your Zwinky profile page by clicking on the "My Profile" button at the bottom of your Zwinky chat window. Keep your profile page private by checking the "Keep my profile private" box. All users under age 18 have a private profile page.

Tips & Warnings

• Pick a username that does not contain your real name for security reasons.

• All information on your Zwinky profile page is accessible by the general public unless it is set to private.
