A lot of children enjoy the pool so much that it makes sense to throw any sort of party for them at a location with a pool. If you have decided to throw a pool party for your young child, here are some helpful tips for you.

• Sunscreen

1. Make a list of who to invite to your child's pool party. If your child is a toddler, you might want to keep the party size small enough for two adults to handle, just in case.

2. Send out pool party theme invitations and remind everyone to bring their swimsuits.

3. Invite children and their parents. The more eyes that are on the children in the pool, the better.

4. Find water games that everyone can enjoy. Keep it limited to shallow-end games rather than the deep side.

5. Carry the pool party theme throughout the entire festivity. The cake, food, decorations, and goody bags for the children can be planned accordingly.

6. Keep the pool free of too many distractions like balls or balloons. You want to be able to see all the children clearly. Decorate just outside the pool perimeter.
