The only person who looks good with a unibrow is Oscar the Grouch. If you don't want to be the unattractive person in the room, you need to tweeze your unibrow. Here's what you must do for the perfect tweeze.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Buy the right tools. A magnifying mirror allows you to see your eyebrow hairs close to the skin. This helps you know which hairs to pluck and allows you to get a cleaner tweeze. You need to have a quality pair of tweezers with sharp blades. The type of tweezers actually affects the level of pain caused by tweezing.

  2. Step 2

Separate your unibrow to create two defined eyebrows. To do this, draw an imaginary line from the inside corner of your eye vertical across your eyebrow. Mark this spot on each eyebrow with an eyebrow pencil. You must pluck any hair between these lines, paying special attention to the bridge of your nose.

  3. Step 3

Find where the exterior edge of your eyebrows should end by drawing an imaginary diagonal line from the inside corner of your eye across your eyebrow. Pluck any hair that falls outside this line.

  4. Step 4

Create an arch and clean the edges. Often people with a unibrow have little or no arch to their eyebrow. To create an arch you need to pluck the eyebrow hairs directly above the center of your iris and taper the arch toward each end. Pull any stray hairs you find to create uniform eyebrows.

  5. Step 5

Soothe your skin. Now that you have two well-defined eyebrows, you need to get rid of any lingering redness. Smooth a gentle astringent like witch hazel onto the plucked area. If you're a woman, use a cover up makeup to hide any remaining flush to the area.

Tips & Warnings
  • You need to pull your skin taunt and pluck in the direction your hair grows to achieve the best tweeze.
  • Always clean your tweezers with rubbing alcohol to prevent infection before you tweeze your unibrow.
