Bath time is worlds of fun for babies and their parents. Priceless pictures are taken as baby learns what it takes to be squeaky clean. You can bathe your baby and be environmentally conscientious at the same time, by conserving water during your baby's bath.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Bathe your baby every other day. Especially when they're infants, babies just don't get too dirty. It's not necessary to bathe a baby every day. You can wait until he's older to start a daily bath routine.

  2. Step 2

Use a baby bath tub. These tubs are safe for your baby to bathe in until he's two years old. These tubs are smaller, so they'll fit on a table, counter, or inside your regular sized bath tub. When you use this smaller tub, you use less water than you would if you bathed your baby in a regular tub. These tubs are also great for safety because they're designed to help keep your baby from slipping. And tub accessories can help it grow as your baby grows.

  3. Step 3

Wash your baby in the kitchen sink. This is great for gripping babies who are still slippery when wet. Plus, filling the kitchen sink requires much less water than the bath tub. Another perk to bathing your baby in the kitchen sink is the height of the sink. You don't have to bend over as much, easing the strain on your back.

  4. Step 4

Fill your bath tub with less water. This seems like a simple way to conserve water, but it's very effective. Your baby doesn't need a tub full of water, so you can get away with using less.
