Instructions
  1. Step 1

Search online for scrapbooking classes. Some sites such as Scrap Tutor or Digital Scrapbook Place offer online-only classes for free or a small fee. Choose your lessons, then call or create an account to purchase your lessons online or on a CD-ROM.

  2. Step 2

Visit your local scrapbooking or crafts store. Most of these stores offer classes on scrapbooking techniques on evenings or weekends. Go to the store or visit its website to view the class schedule. Fill out the online form to register or sign up at the store to join the class.

  3. Step 3

Find scrapbooking classes at your local community center or at a school that offers evening, weekend or summer programs. Some of these places offer arts and crafts classes that include scrapbooking at the beginner, intermediate or advanced level. Pick up a catalog from the center, or search online to find and sign up for scrapbooking lessons.

  4. Step 4

Look for weekend scrapbooking conventions or workshops in or near your area. In addition to having exhibitors or vendors, these special events offer hands-on lessons on scrapbooking techniques and projects. Register in advance online if you're interested in a quick tutorial on scrapbooking or if you want to learn new ideas.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some classes require you to have materials ready for scrapbooking. However, you can also purchase the materials on the day of the class, especially if you go to a scrapbooking or crafts store.
