How to Get Past EBay Bids

By using the advanced search options on eBay, it is possible to find out what any user has been bidding on. If you are curious enough, you can see all of the bids over the past 30 days, even the losing bids made by the bidder. Using this search feature allows anyone to see what their friends and family are bidding on, and may even reveal recent gift purchases.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Start at any page on the site. Every page has a search box at the top of the page. Click on the "Advanced Search" link next to it.
Step2
Look to the left of the screen and find the search options box. Click on the "Items by Bidder" link under the "Find Items" heading.
Step3
Enter the eBay user ID that you want to trace into the search box. You can then choose to check a box to see the completed listings, or leave it on the default that only searches for current listings.
Step4
Choose whether you want to see the eBay auctions that the bidder lost, or only the ones that were won.
Step5
Click on the search button to bring up all of the listings that the user bid on. You can then click on any of the items to get a better look at what the bidder has won or lost. If you don't see the bidder's name on the actual item page, click on the Purchases" link to see the exact bid amount.
