Step1
Purchase presentation software. Check out such programs as Powerpoint, Flash, Wink, PowerShowPro, HyperStudio and KidPix.
Step2
Become familiar with program's folders and software tools. Preview and review all tools, functions and features of the program.
Step3
Create an outline in Word or Notepad to efficiently organize all key points that you would like to include in your presentation.
Step4
Open a blank presentation.
Step5
Save initial document to folder on desktop or folder.
Step6
Layout pages and flow of pages. Create an easy to follow flow so that the audience easily transitions from page to page.
Step7
Start with text copy. Include all of the text that each page would need to include.
Step8
Add graphics, pictures or colors. Import pictures or use clip art files that are available with most programs. Create graphs, charts or diagrams to clearly communicate sales figures, dollars or projections. Animate your presentation with cool features of motion and simulation.
Step9
Review and edit your presentation. Save the final project to a CD ROM to bring your presentation to work, school or a formal presentation setting.
