Conventional treatments for the herpes virus include anti-viral drugs and prescription medications designed to relieve symptoms. While these drugs may effectively suppress the virus and help with symptoms, they are often expensive and accompanied by a wide variety of side effects. Alternatively, you can treat your symptoms at home with herbal remedies that are easy, inexpensive and effective.

Tips & Warnings
  • Eat a healthy diet that includes more raw fresh fruits and vegetables and natural juices. The most important part of making an herbal remedy effective is to treat your body with care. Remove excess fat and salt from your diet, don't eat meat during a herpes outbreak and refrain from alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, drugs and other stimulants.
  • When applying a vapor bath, be sure to lie in a warm room where cool air does not enter, as the heat of the vapor bath is pertinent. If the eucalyptus oil bothers the blisters, simply cover the affected area with a thin cloth or wear thin underwear.

on 10/19/2007 Great. Some of the standard members at pozgroup.com said they can not afford the expensive Valtrex. You may post these herbals to the forum and blog of that site.
