Things You'll Need:
- Organza ribbon
- Clear cement glue
- Scissors
- Sterling silver jump ring
- Swarovski crystal pendant
- Bent-nose pliers
- Round silver beads
- Fire-polished beads
- Silver toggle clasp
-
Step 1
Cut 24 inches of organza ribbon, which you can find at any crafts store, to start your necklace. Attach a sterling silver open jump ring to your crystal pendant with bent-nose pliers. Slide the open jump ring and pendant onto the ribbon, making sure that it is centered for your necklace.
-
Step 2
Slide a sterling silver round bead, a fire polished-style bead and then another round bead onto the ribbon on each side of the pendant.
-
Step 3
Slide one sterling silver round bead on each side of the ribbon, but keep them near the end of your necklace. You need to hide the knot that you will tie for the clasp at the end of your necklace.
-
Step 4
Decide the length of your necklace. Tie the ends of your necklace to each side of a silver toggle clasp, using a square knot. Dab some cement glue on both knots, and trim any excess ribbon from the knots using your scissors.
-
Step 5
Wait for the glue to dry, then take one silver round bead and slide it over one knot to hide it. Repeat the step for the other side of the necklace. The beads will appear at the ends of the necklace on both sides of the toggle clasp, which you will use to attach your necklace.
