How to Change a Flat Tire
If you drive, the day may come when you hear a loud bang followed by the unmistakable thumping noise of a flat tire. Knowing how to change a flat tire will let you take control of the situation so you can get back on the road in no time.
Instructions

1
Pull your car off the road, allowing yourself enough room to change the tire without being a hazard to other vehicles or putting yourself at risk of being struck. Set the parking brake.
-
2
Remove the hub cap or wheel cover from the wheel that has the flat tire. Loosen the lug nuts. Using the lug wrench, turn each lug nut counterclockwise until they loosen. Do not remove the lug nuts yet.
-
-
3
Jack up the car carefully. Raise the jack until it touches the bottom of the car, then position the jack properly. Continue jacking up the car until the tire is just off of the ground.
-
4
Continue loosening the lug nuts and remove them. Grasp the wheel with both hands, one on each side, and pull it straight off.
-
5
Pick up the spare tire and line the holes in the center with the shafts that they fit over. Slide the spare tire over the shafts until it is in place.
-
6
Put the lug nuts back on and hand tighten them slightly. Do not completely tighten yet. Lower the jack and return the car to the ground.
-
7
Using the lug wrench, completely tighten the lug nuts.
-
8
Install the hub cap or wheel cover back onto the wheel. Place jack, lug wrench and flat back into their proper areas after you've changed the tire.

Thank you cgc64!! Btw, you are a smokin' hot babe. You are a very attractive young woman and intelligent, I would totally date you if I lived by you, or if you weren't already taken. I also found the tip to push your foot against the bottom of tire helpful! HOLLER! Peace. -

Try to avoid a flat by checking your tire pressure every few months. Especially when we change seasons.
