When given a shopping assignment, prove that you are dependable. Not only will the company call you again, they will give you a good reference to other companies that need mystery shoppers.

4
Keep a log of all your mystery shopping jobs. As you are assigned to each, add it and all pertinent information to the log. Record each completed job. Set a goal. For example, the average shop pays ten dollars, so if you need to make four hundred dollars per week for full- time wages, you need to complete 40 assignments per week.
-
5
Expand your shopping territory when asked to do so. Inform the mystery shopping company that you can visit neighboring towns to shop. Tell them when you are going on a trip that will allow you to shop at that destination.
-
6
Advise the companies for which you work that you can take on different kinds of mystery shopping assignments. For example, if you are visiting retail stores to shop, let the companies know you can also visit gas stations, bowling alleys, restaurants, banks or any other institutions than may need to be inspected. Do not set any limits. All assignments will come with a manual. Read the manual and shop with confidence.
-
7
Communicate with the companies for which you work. This is a full-time mystery shopping position. Treat it as such. Do all the assignments within the time frames given. Advise your companies if you will need time off. Refuse any assignment that that you will be unable to fulfill in a timely manner, so it can be reassigned without penalty to you.
