Establish a budget. Lower level seats for the ACC men's basketball tourney can sell for one to five thousand dollars, each depending on the closeness to the court. Even tickets in the upper level sell for hundreds of dollars each.

Visit ticket broker sites on the internet. There are many ticket brokers on the internet that will offer tickets to the ACC men's basketball tournament. However, these tickets are sold at a premium.

Step 3
Check internet auction sites for individuals selling tickets. This is a more risky proposition because the buyer has to rely on a seller with which they have no history. Beware of fraudulent sellers and never wire money or directly use a debit card that is tied to a bank account.

Call each ACC school's athletic department as the tourney approaches and inquire about remaining tickets. Often not every school will sell out their allotment of tickets and will have tickets remaining at face value.

Travel to Charlotte on the weekend of the tourney. On the first day of ACC, men's basketball tourney four teams' fans will be going home with loses in the first round. These tickets go for face value or below.

Join an ACC basketball member's booster club. Boston College, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest are the colleges that comprise the ACC basketball conference.
