Instructions

    • 1

Choose a flat, round base for your candle wreath. Select a color like black or silver that will blend in with the wreath and complement its decorations.

    • 2

Bend branches into a circular shape using fake evergreen branches on bendable wire from a craft store. Twist branch ends together to form one solid circle of branches.

    • 3

Arrange the evergreen wreath around the base where the candle will sit, keeping the wreath in its circular shape and leaving plenty of room to place the candle in the center.

    • 4

Pull some smaller branches out on the outer edge of the wreath to give it a more rustic and realistic appearance.

    • 5

Tie holiday ribbons into bows at spaced intervals around the wreath of evergreen branches. If you don't want to use bows, use craft wire to tie on miniature candy canes, small ornaments or even bells as an extra festive accent.

    • 6

Select a large pillar candle that will be the center of your candle wreath. Choose a candle that is a solid color of the season such as red, green, white or silver.

    • 7

Place the candle in the center of the evergreen wreath. Bend branches from the evergreen pieces around the candle so they compliment each other. If you tied ribbon bows around your wreath, tie a larger one from the same kind of ribbon around the center of the candle for an additional accent.
