Step 1
Call your local guidance center or family counseling services agency to see if they have a relationship coach or referrals they can give you. Call those referrals to see if they're specialized in being a relationship coach and the type of services they offer to see if they meet your needs. Ask them for additional relationship coach referrals if they aren't able to meet your needs. Chances are they know a colleague or two who may help you.

Step 2
Look through the phone book. It's simple, almost everyone has one and it gives you the chance to find relationship coaches in your area. You can go and visit them and set up a consultation to see if they're the right one to help you with your relationship.

Step 3
Ask friends. If you have friends that have utilized a relationship coach in the past then they can offer you a reference or send you in the right direction to find a relationship coach of your own.

Step 4
Go to church. Whatever your religion most churches offer some sort of couples counseling or relationship coaching. What's best about going to church is that it's an environment you're familiar with and if your religious leader is the relationship coach then you already know it's a person you can trust.
