How to Make Chamomile Hair Rinse
You don't have to spend a lot of money at the hair salon to highlight your hair when natural products and the sun can do it for you. If your hair is blonde or light brown, or tends to have light highlights, using a chamomile rinse causes the lighter strands to pop, giving you sun-kissed highlights with very little time or money. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Brew a large pot of chamomile tea using tea bags purchased from any regular grocery or specialty store. Use 3 to 4 bags to make the pot of tea stronger than you normally would to drink.
-
2
Steep chamomile tea for a few minutes and pour into a large bowl to cool completely.
-
-
3
Shampoo and condition hair. Rinse with warm water and squeeze excess water from hair.
-
4
Apply cooled chamomile tea to hair and saturate, allowing the mix to soak. Sit with your head in the bowl or wrap saturated hair in a towel for 5 to 10 minutes.
-
5
Dry hair naturally, in the sun if possible to boost results, to bring out the natural blonde and golden highlights in your tresses.

Tips & Warnings
Use warm instead of hot water, which can damage and dry out your hair, when washing and rinsing.
Rinse your hair first with an equal part vinegar and purified water solution to rid hair of build-up from products and shampoos.
Use a squirt bottle to give an extra boost to your hair while you're sitting on your porch or at the beach.
