Take a three-pound box of soft block process cheese food (such as Velveeta), cube it up and put it in a slow cooker. Add a small can of tomatoes and peppers or a small jar of salsa.

Consider an optional ingredient here—brown a half pound of ground beef and add it to the cheese/tomato mixture. Turn the slow cooker on low and let it cook for two to four hours. Use your favorite dipping chips, crackers or vegetables with the recipe.
