Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Logon to Travelocity.com and click on "Last Minute Packages."
Step2
Enter your departure and arrival cities and dates. Click "Search Packages."
Step3
Look over your Last Minute Package results based on the criteria you entered. Consider the alternate dates and nearby and similar destinations listed when deciding on your trip.
Step4
Choose the destination package that most appeals to you. Often, Last Minute Packages are limited and only a few results show up. Don't be afraid to select one of these options; the particulars of your vacation can be determined on the following pages.
Step5
Provide traveler details; include the number of travelers, their ages and the number of hotel rooms needed. Select a hotel based on rating, cost and amenities.
Step6
Select departure and returning flights based on airline information, departure and arrival times and total travel time.
Step7
Add a rental car to your order, if desired. If you don't need a rental car, simply select "No Car, Thanks."
Step8
Type your billing information. Review prices and enter your travelers' full names. Agree to Terms and Conditions by selecting "I Agree."
Step9
Review the details of your Last Minute Package deal one more time. If everything is in order, authorize the transaction, reserve hotels and confirm your trip.

Tips & Warnings

  • When searching for last minute deals, the last available departure date is usually only a week from the present date. If your trip is more than a week away, search for flights, hotels and cars using the regular Travelocity options.
  • You can also search for last minute deals by selecting "Top Deals," "This Weekend" and "Two Departure Cities." Be advised that the travel options available under these links are usually limited. To be in total control of your vacation options, manually enter your preferences in the fields provided on the main "Last Minute Packages" page.
